Don't say I didn't warn you when it came time to pimp this thing, but after 8 years of writing, rewriting, pulling my hair out, banging my head against my desk, and wrangling with two different publishers, The Cuttlefish has finally seen the light of day.
What does this mean?
Well, at this point, you can either buy it from me directly here in Korea, or get it from Amazon, which -- despite the fact that Jeff Bezos is a malignant fevered ubernerd -- is currently the best delivery system for indie authors in this day and age.
They distribute books. What can I say?
This has been a brilliant, gratifying, and yes, terrifying process, but the early word seems to be that The Cuttlefish is a kick in the pants, which is what I set out to do.
Support indie presses! Support indie authors!
“The Cuttlefish is by no small measure the best novel about ESL teachers in East Asia. In fact, it is probably the most engaging, perceptive, and realistic depiction of life as a Westerner in Asia for several decades.” — David S. Wills, author of High White Notes: The Rise and Fall of Gonzo Journalism
“Incredibly vivid and very funny.” — Brian Aylward, standup comedian

Congratulations! Go go go!!
Awesome! Hope it sells like 2am street tacos outside of a trendy Guadalajara nightclub. (I'm sure there's an Asian equivalent, but I gotta use what I know.)
